2013 SXSW Guest Review: KILIMANJARO

By Jan Hamilton

Rating: B

Meek and mild, our New York hero is not satisfied with his life, despite a good job, nice apartment and long-time girl friend. When she move out, he decides to to something very different with is next vacation, he and his friend (Marquette) will climb Mount Kilimanjaro. The film explores the clash between our dreams and adult responsibilities. Ably acted by a smart cast, this film is a treat.
