Comicpalooza announced this month that Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner (Avengers: Age of Ultron, American Hustle, Bourne Legacy, The Hurt Locker) is set to appear at this year’s convention on Saturday, May 23rd. Renner will also star in the upcoming Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation and Captain America Civil War. Additionally, the recent guest announcements include Cobie Smulders, Hayley Atwell, Jason Isaacs and Marky Ramone.
Austin talent will be revealed soon as part of the line – up for Comicpalooza from May 22 -25, 2015 at the GeorgeR.BrownConvention Center in downtown Houston. With over 2,000 hours of programming running from 10 am until 2 am and 1.1 million square feet of exhibit and event space, Comicpalooza is the largest pop-culture event in Texas after SXSW.
Other guests include Stan Lee, George Takei (Star Trek), Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Linda Blair (The Exorcist), Gotham stars Camren Bicondova, Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee, Cameron Monaghan, and Cory Michael Smith, also Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead), Joel Hodgson (MST3K). In attendance celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show are Barry Bostwick, Patricia Quinn and Nell Campbell.
Other guests include comic book legends Kevin Eastman, Walt Simonson, Peter David, Simon Bisley, and Jeff Smith, wrestlers include Sting, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Bobby Heenan, novelists Mercedes Lackey, Raymond E. Feist, Jonathan Maberry and many more.
